Astronomy on Tap T.O.

Join University of Toronto at The Great Hall on Friday, November 4, 2016 for a special 2nd anniversary edition of their popular Astronomy on Tap T.O. series.

It promises to be another fun evening of pints, astronomy news, mind-expanding talks from University of Toronto astronomers and special guest speakers from the OSIRIS-REx asteroid and ExoMars missions.

There will also be games, special prizes and food at a special venue: newly renovated The Great Hall. You’ll also have opportunities to talk one-on-one with University of Toronto astronomers over your favourite pint.

Astronomy on Tap events at bars around Toronto’s downtown core consist of three short (5-10 minute) talks in an informal style, astronomy trivia games (with prizes!), and an opportunity to sit down with an astronomer and finally ask: what IS dark energy, anyway?

Doors open 7:30 pm | 8:00 pm start
