Vintage Spectacular Dance

Toronto always has a great weekend scene. But things go next level at the end of October with Halloween jams of every sort, for every person, including the “spooktacular” edition of the Vintage Spectacular Dance from partners Lindy Hop Revolution, Toronto Lindy Hop and the GTA Swing Band, here at The Great Hall.

The end to your Sunday Funday includes a big band, dance lessons, our vintage venue and a Halloween themed party, pretty spooktacular, right?

Come on out and lindy hop, swing dance, jitterbug or just plain shake a leg. What do you say, Toronto? Let’s dance!

Your hosts for the night:
The GTA Swing Band is a traditional 17-piece group with their featured vocalist Mim Adams. Capturing the sounds of the 1940s swing era, you’ll hear the hits of Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee and more.

Lindy Hop Revolution is swing dance studio specialized in lindy hop, Charleston and vernacular jazz based in Toronto since 2012. Luis and Natalia, a couple of dancers from Barcelona, totally fell in love with swing dancing from the very first moment and decided to share their love for lindy hop here in Toronto.

Halloween themed attire not required but highly encouraged. Because it’s fun and because there are a couple of outfit contests with prizes: 1st and 2nd place for best individual costumes plus a “best dressed group” award.
